Thanks for all the great suggestions. I’m going to share the ideas with my wife but I’m leaning towards that last picture. I like the way the curtains frame the windows. I like the idea of the doorknob hooks (in another room) too but don’t know where I’d find them. Ideas? Also, do you think I should put a piece of art between the windows?
As always, thanks for all the help. I appreciate your patience in answering all my questions!
Jason
Jason, you’re more than welcome. To find vintage doorknobs will likely take a little thrift store or salvage store shopping. You could also check ebay. But, they don’t have to be vintage; how about glass/crystal knobs that just look “vintage”?
No, I wouldn’t hang art between the windows. By the time you get drapes up, that space will shrink and it would get lost in the draperies. Let the drapery treatment be the only statement on that wall.
Keep reading; keep asking questions. We’re glad to help.
Thanks, what a great post!!! I have told several of my freinds and family about your blog!!
Glad I could help shed some light on the issue for you. Let me know if I can help further.
