I have a fabulous announcement!  I’m so excited to tell you that my friend and sometimes business partner is still my friend (30 years and counting!) and once again business partner. 

Cindy will be partnering with me on this blog starting …. right away.  Why should you care?  Because now you get the benefit of two perspectives, two researchers, two experienced designers who can’t wait to help solve your design dilemmas.  Cindy is certified by IRIS as a professional redesigner and has lots of before and after shots that she’ll be sharing over the coming months.  It will be great to have her added expertise in that arena.  Why do I care?  Because I get to work with my best friend again which makes it less like work and more like play!

We took our first interior design class together years ago, our lives went different directions, but here we are in design and decorating together again – full circle.  Cindy and I share some design sensibilities and have similar taste but we’re different enough that we look forward to offering you some occasionally differing opinions.  Then you can choose who you agree with.  We have loads of information to share, lots of fun ideas coming up and even more frequent postings so you won’t have to go too long between your decorating fixes.

Also, Cindy has recently moved to a small town in Washington; I recently moved to a small town in Arizona (we’re much too far apart!) so you’ll have the benefit of enjoying two different corners of the country and two different lifestyles.  We’ll be sharing a little of our personal journeys through the months.   

We love crafting and DIY projects and are always on the lookout for things we can make or remake ourselves.  So that will be another aspect that will be improved – Cindy has experience in craft areas that I don’t and I can’t wait for her to share some of her project ideas.  (We’d like to hear your ideas and see your projects too.)
