As usual, here’s the day I’ll share a few sites that I found intriguing, amusing, innovative……. be sure to share some of your favorites in the comments – we can never have too many inspirational sites.
This delightful site offers easy craft projects of all kinds, yummy digital journal pages that are appropriately vintage and prose that reads like enchanting poetry. A Field Journal is not totally about design, but is totally about sharing beauty in a beautiful way.
A site focusing on decor for kids’ rooms – babies to teens – Design Dazzle offers ideas and shopping by theme or by age group. A great resource if you’re creating a kid space.
I found a really interesting article on Home Workshop about how Benjamin Moore paint determines their “hot” new color recommendations for the upcoming year. The interview predicts green (specifically their Cedar Green) as the color for 2010. Wander to her site and read how they come to that conclusion. I mentioned this site in a previous article about her regular design challenges geared to the public, not to designers.
Fuel Your Creativity serves as a clearinghouse for creativity in all its forms – web design to fashion to graphic art to interior design. The article I’ve linked to provides links to a dozen designs they’ve deemed excellent. I tend to agree – they’re definitely innovative (check out that hairstyle!)
I’m not vegetarian so I can’t speak to how tasty these recipes are, but the site is appealing and I love the premise of the site: “Holistic, Natural and Green Approach to Optimal Wellness”. Tips and recipes can be found at Evolving Wellness.
Satisfying another of my passions, I found this photography site – absolutely stunning photos of landscapes (the page this links to) and people and some great urban architecture photos and….. check it out: Les Forrester.
