Another installment of WWW as I browse the web in search of the good, better, best of sites to share. You know, I’m discovering there’s a lot of junk out there….sites that are boring, poorly written, or personal journals about what somebody had for breakfast — BUT, there are also lots of sites that are interesting, fun and informative (and talk about what someone had for breakfast!). Here are some that caught my eye this week:
- Some tips and how-tos are featured on this decorating site. Visit Nesting Place
- A watercolor artist who also loves design…she has a wide range of artwork topics - take a look at Fifi Flowers
- Too funny! Moggit had me chuckling out loud as I read through post after post. Pages titled “Oh No You Didn’t” and “If These Walls Could Talk” are filled with the design ridiculous and their comments are funny and spot on. Seriously, you need to see some of the stuff out there being called great design. By somebody.
- For those of you who enjoy vintage finds, Heather Bullard’s blog & boutique are charming and filled with good ideas.
- 101 Cookbooks is just perfect for those of you who enjoy cooking. Me, not so much, but I still love looking at cookbook pictures and drooling over appetizing recipes. Look at all these yummy summer salad ideas.
- Here’s another take on summer salads that make use of all the vegetables available at this time of year – CookThink is a recipe and food and drinks blog.
- Planning a summer wedding? This site has pictures and resources galore…..planning an outdoor themed wedding – garden, tent, beach, or vineyard? There are tips and photos to help you decide. The Knot also sorts the pictures by color, so if you want ideas to fit your favorite color scheme, this is the place.
