There are a lot of various styles and designs of rocking chairs to choose from. The rocking motion is said to be therapeutic, not only for the soothing, relaxing sensation but also for the physical benefits of increaing circulation in the feet and lower legs.
I always love a rocker (or glider) and wish I had one at home. They’re so comfortable and soothing. You’ve shown some fantastic examples of beautiful chairs. Of course, the mid-century ones are my fave.
Oh, I do luv me some rocking chairs! I even put them on our boathouse sundeck and painted them sunset colors…have one on the deck painted black…have one on lower deck painted lime green…one on the front porch painted barn red…one in the guest house…aqua…yup, I luv rocking chairs. franki
