Last May I helped a faithful reader, Sindy, with her window seat dilemma. Click here to read the post. Sindy wrote recently to share some good news about her completed project.
Sindy’s Window Seat Update
In the original post you’ll see “before” photos of the window seat and below is an “after” photo Sindy sent. Under the photo is her email.
Hi Cindy,
I just had to touch bases with you. Last year you helped me with decorating my window seat in my living room and I was so pleased with all your input and with the final results!
My hubby retires in June and so we decided to put our house up for sale in February. I figured it would take FOREVER to sell this house. We listed the house on Feb 8 and it sold on Feb 10 for the full asking price! I still cannot believe it. Ack! They were crazy about the window seat and the view–they asked if we would be interested in selling the furnishings, too…
So, thank you sooooooo much, Cindy! Without your help, I would just have a big 16′ box taking the limelight in my living room!
Blessings,
Sindy
Glad to Help!
Terrie and I enjoy the opportunity to help Your Decorating Hotline readers with their decorating dilemmas. And we LOVE hearing how the projects work out. Thank you, Sindy, for sharing your final results and your good news with us. It really makes it fun for us to come full circle – being able to see how our input is implemented into a final design.
