1-seasonal spring markA couple weeks ago Cindy shared some really fun and exotic containers to hold flowers whether yours come from the store or your yard.  This week I’m going to share some ideas and techniques on how simple it can be to add life to your spaces with spring flowers or branches.

At this time of year it’s SO easy to take your clippers and go for a walk through your local flower shop – your yard.   Cut blooms, trim branches, cut leaves or grasses, and bring them indoors.  The longer the branch, the more exotic shape the leaf, the more dramatic presentation you’ll create in your home.

Abracadabra – PAINT!  We all know the incredible difference a fresh coat of paint can make in a room.  It can update a space, set a mood, make a statement, revitalize an old piece of furniture and even leave your bank account intact.  And that’s just “regular” paint.
