As with all new ventures, our first year has been one of challenges, technical issues and trying to figure out how to put out a quality product and still have a life.  But, it’s also been filled with successes and rewarding connections.  We’re here to celebrate our first full year of blogging with you!

When Your Decorating Hotline started, the goal was simple.  I wanted a site that offered free, accurate and accessible home decorating advice on any topic.  That has been one of the major successes of YDH and will continue to be the mainstay of the site.  By adding my friend Cindy to the mix, I really feel like you all benefited immeasurably.  You now have the expertise of two experienced designers sharing all our hints, tips, secrets and advice – all to help you create a home you love.

balloon clusterToday is all about thanking and recognizing our readership for your contribution to the success of Your Decorating Hotline.  As with any new blog, we started out with a subscriber base of one, me and one reader, my husband.  Now there are hundreds of you following us and our subscriber base continues to grow strongly.  It’s SO exciting to be part of a growing endeavor.
