This is a great post on mirrors. I am definately going to add mirrors as a category to my products and advice my customers about the different uses of use mirrors. Thank you for your enlightenment. I will always visit your site for more.
I’m finding out so much about decorating homes now, I think my wife’s definitely going to be surprised. We recently had a house valuation because we’re looking to sell up. I think this would be just the kind of deco we’d need to spruce the place up a bit.
I think the leaning mirrors are a great look. It doesn’t work for every kind of design aesthetic, but it creates a great focal point for any room.
I agree, it can be a dramatic look whether the mirror is big and on the floor or smaller and leaning on a mantel. The big caveat is to be sure and consider safety issues, especially if there are children in the house.
I now consider placing multiple mirrors in my house. I like how the mirrors can lighten the wall’s bulkiness. I will be sure to choose the right colors for my wall to have a better effect on my future mirror decors.
This is one excellent post, but then again, posts on this site are always excellent! I appreciate the depth and variety in topics and when I see a new post I know I won’t be disappointed. Rather than finish the post I recently began on mirrors I plan to just refer my readers to this one.
I love mirrors hung in multiples and you have some great examples.
Terrie,
Gorgeous vignettes and fabulous ideas. . . makes me want to go out and buy some mirrors!
I love the casual elegance look and combining a touch of well worn with a touch of glam.
No time to decorate these days but still fun to dream!
