Hang the stars and stripes – the best possible decoration for your 4th of July celebration! When hanging the flag flat, either vertical (as shown above) or horizontally, the field of stars should always be to the viewer’s left.
Fill clear containters with non-combustible red or blue filler like sand, beads or pebbles and insert a white votive to add sparkle to your table decor.
With some great red, white, and blue craft paper and simple DIY instructions you can make dozens of fun pinwheels to stick in your garden, flower pots or window boxes.
For some good old fashioned fun, decorate with a color garland and firecracker favors decorated with Victorian images. For information about creating both of the above craft projects see Country Living.
Your family will explode with excitement when they see this colorful table. Follow the DIY instructions for creating the fireworks table runner and pom pom explosions.
Red, white, and blue pots and red, white, and blue flowers are perfect 4th of July decorations for the deck, porch or buffet table – and they’ll last long after the holiday ends.
Red, white, and blue stars and ribbon join forces to create the perfect wreath for the holiday. Check out the easy instructions here.
Use luminarias to light your table or line a garden path when the sun sets. Paper punches do all the work – here’s how.
Add red, white, and blue cushions and pillows to your porch or patio and then settle back to enjoy the holiday and a great conversation with family and friends.
There’s still time! Which of these ideas has inspired you to create something special for the 4th of July? Have a great holiday!
