My sister-in-law owns horses and I happened to be with her one day when they were shoed.  After that I started noticing how often horseshoes were integrated into home decor items.  Then as my awareness grew, I realized all sorts of horse oriented items, including stirrups, crops, boots, saddles and more, were incorporated into home decor items.
