Your mantle is fabulous!!I went back and read your tree post – ah so nice to find another like soul!!! Did you wrap the lights on yourself? I usually buy prelit trees because I detest the light hanging so much. And you had a real, live, fresh tree?! Wow! And so huge too!!!!! Glad I found you site – I’ll be back to see what other pretties you’ve created!
Hi Carolyn:
The mantle is my partners – Terrie – but the trees were mine. So now you know why we both qualify as tree-aholics. I’m lucky because my husband wraps the lights – up and down each stem so patiently. The 9′ tree in our masterbedroom has over a 1,000 lights on it, almost 1,200 I think.
Thanks for visiting – Merry Christmas!
Cindy
This is a stunning display and so great to see something different for those cubbies that builders loved putting in to houses a few years ago.
I’ve been crazy busy but having fun adding a small holiday touch every few days. A little here and a little there; no pressure just a touch of the holidays! One day I set up my Christmas Village and then added the lighting a few days later. On my next break, I’ll add the snow and greenery. I’m the only one who needs to know that it isn’t complete and in the meantime, we all get to enjoy the display.
cheers to all!
Kathy
That was so fun…it looks wonderful! Visions of mantels dance through my head…. franki
