Terrie and I live in the Pacific Northwest but currently you’d think it was Antarctica! Deep freeze temperatures, snow, ice and wind are not the norm for our part of the country- but that’s what’s happening in full force. The word on the news is stay home unless you absolutely have to go somewhere – and it looks like that will hold for the rest of the week!
Make it Easy
This type of “can’t control” situation is one reason to plan ahead with Christmas shopping! Weather like this offers a perfect opportunity to surf the web and armchair shop for the holidays. Not only does this save time and money (no gas, parking fees, or dollars spent on things you hadn’t planned to buy but did because you just couldn’t bear to tramp to yet another store!) but it reduces stress too. Even if weather isn’t a worry for you, other unplanned situations like illness, car troubles, extended work hours and who knows what else can derail well layed plans. Don’t stress…let your mouse lead the shopping charge.
