This morning in my email box I received the most delightful surprise. Over at A Field Journal Livy as created the most appealing fall activity book and made it available for download – FREE – and complete with step by step photos. Titled I Spied October, the little booklet is a vintage look at all that October personifies and is accompanied by a poem I wish I could have written.

“Bay leaves in bronze, a spool of gold thread - deep olive velvet and words to be read.” is how the poem begins. The lines of the poem relate to a charming “I spy” page. You really should take a moment and click through to see her amazing work. It’ll start your day off beautifully – and maybe even inspire you to create a little book of your own.
