It impacts our lives by making our surroundings feel cozy or spacious, making us feel warm or cold, swaying our thinking, energizing or relaxing us, and encouraging us to eat or suppressing our appetite.

Personal Color Preferences

Each of us reacts to color differently – some colors appeal to us more than others. Your gender, your age and your cultural background can influence your color preferences. Plus, we each have personal associations to color based on our history and experiences.

In general, blue is a universal color that appeals to the majority of people. But color doesn’t exist in isolation in your environment – surrounding colors impact one another, as does the amount and type of available light. The colors you like also reflect something about you.

I’ve taken all of them – some of them several times. Have fun taking them but I suggest embracing the answers with a “grain of salt” - consider them interesting and fun, but certainly not doctrine. If you see a pattern developing in your quiz results, however, perhaps you’ll have some new things to consider the next time you want to change the color of a room.
