A site I regularly read published a great little how-to project last week that I'd like to share with you. It doesn't require a high level of skill, just a sewing machine, some pretty magazine pages and clear vinyl. She provides complete instructions to make a very personalized business card holder. Some of these chairs I find creative and useful and a great testament to reuse/recyle. Some are just weird. What a creative idea for a chest or table! Many times I find designer furniture that is so creative it's actually weird and unappealing. Not so with this fabulous design.

This serene room demonstrates many good design elements. The room is definitely monochromatic, which is not my favorite palette, however, the play of textures and natural accents makes it welcoming.
