Join us on a journey – a decorating journey created to help each of us make our home a haven, the perfect place to retreat, rejuvenate, rejoice and welcome friends and family. We’re here to inspire you, encourage you, instruct you and share with you – and we trust you’ll do the same for us as we build a decorating community together!
We believe it’s important to understand basic design rules as they provide a foundation and structure that make decorating easier – but it’s also important to understand when to let your imagination and inspiration break the rules in order to put your unique personal stamp on your home. Don’t be intimidated or doubt your decorating ability or creativity – we know you can do it and we’re here to help. In fact, ask us any design related question, describe a roadblock or dilemma that’s got you stuck and we’ll promptly provide input to help you move ahead!

Terrie (left) and Cindy (right), friends and partners.
An interior designer for over 12 years, Terrie’s work spans from residential homes, to commercial buildings to the interior redecoration of a yacht – the 30th largest in the world as a matter of fact!
A professionally trained redesigner and stager, Cindy’s hands-on experience includes showing people how to best decorate using what they already own and outlining “next steps” for continuing the evolution of their space.
We started interior design classes together in the Seattle area and though over the years we became separated by miles, we’re now both located back in the northwest. Distance failed to diminish our friendship or collaboration and we’re both happy to be working together again as Your Decorating Hotline.
We’re here for you! So, let’s roll up our sleeves, open our minds to new possibilities and embrace our inner decorator so that every home becomes the best it can be. We can’t wait to help you create the environment you want to call home.
NOTE: Our goal for this blog is to share great, surprising, unusual, creative, inspirational ideas with all of you. We haven’t always seen or used the particular products shown or discussed. When we have personal knowledge of them, we’ll let you know, otherwise we’re just sharing cool things we’ve found on the web and making no specific or implied endorsements.
